Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Information that identifies You as a particular individual is referred to as personally identifiable information. When You contact Us through the Website or other means (e.g. by filling in and submitting an information request form), submitting an e-mail through Our “Contact Us” feature, creating or updating a User Account, submitting a credit card processing form, participating in an online course, and/or sending Us an e-mail directly, You are providing Us with PII that may include, but is not limited to, Your name, e-mail, telephone number, and location information.
When You register a User Account and/or purchasing a course from My Security Training, We may collect a variety of information, including but not limited to Your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, and credit card information. When You participate in an online course We may collect information from You that is generated by Your activities within the course, such as assignments, quizzes, and tests. We may also collect data about Your usage of the Website during the course, such as how long You stayed on one screen, where You clicked on a screen, or mouse movement. We may also collect PII to assist us in tracking attendance, progress, and completion of courses.

We can respond to Your general inquires via manual dialed calls or email. By submitting Your PII You are allowing Us to retain and process such information as necessary to perform the services offered to and requested by You, including but not limited to processing payment for courses or contacting You to discuss courses We offer.
We will only contact You with an auto-dial system or with a pre-recorded telephone message if You authorized Us to via an electronic signature or manual signature. If You want to stop receiving promotional materials from Us, You may unsubscribe by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any e-mail communication from My Security Training, by email at legal@MySecurityTraining.com. Third-Party Service Providers. My Security Training may use third party service providers to assist Us in providing and managing the My Security Training services. We may make Your information available to Our agents and service providers so that they can provide requested services to You on Our behalf. These third parties assist Us in a variety of ways, including but not limited to: (i) developing and supporting product and features; (ii) supporting our marketing efforts; (iii) processing payments; (iv) developing and supporting the Website; (v) processing data and statistics; and (vi) hosting media content. Third parties will not track Your outside online activities over time and across different websites after using the Website.
My Security Training is the sole owner of the information collected on this Website. We only have access to and collect personally identifiable information that You voluntarily give Us via e-mail, fill-in form, or other direct contact from You. We do not knowingly allow other parties to collect PII about Your online activities over time and/or across third-party websites when You use Our Websites and services.
Retention of Information
My Security Training retains adequate documentation (electronic or paper) for a minimum of five (5) years to comply with our provider approval requirements. The following is a list of documents retained as evidence of participants’ successful completion of courses: Records of Participation (Attendance Sign-In Sheets and Log-In information); Dates and Location of Courses; Instructor Names and credentials; Number of continuing education credits earned by participants; and results of evaluations.
My Security Training is serious about Your privacy and We take precautions to protect Your information. We use reasonable security measures to protect Your information, both online and offline.
Wherever We collect personally identifiable or sensitive information (such as credit card data) from You, that information is transmitted to Us in a secure way and/or encrypted, through the use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificates. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of Your web browser or in the URL address bar, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. However, take note that despite the protective measures taken by My Security Training, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
In addition to using encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, We also protect Your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job function (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to PII. Lastly, the computers/servers in which We store PII are kept in a secure environment.
We do not respond to web browser ‘do-not-track’ signals or other mechanisms that may provide You the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of information on the Website. However, You may opt out of any future contacts from Us at any time by contacting Us at legal@MySecurityTraining.com.
My Security Training does not typically share Our Users information with non-affiliated third parties, but We may do so at Our sole discretion. Complaint Resolution Policy
My Security Training is committed to providing quality service for its participants. One of the ways in which We can continue to improve Our service is by listening and responding to the views of Our members and customers, and in particular by responding to complaints in a prompt and polite manner.
Complaints must be in writing, signed and submitted to My Security Training Complaints, 11859 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90025, or legal@MySecurityTraining.com. Complaint must allege a violation that occurred no more than one (1) year prior to the date the complaint is received by My Security Training. Each complaint must include the following:
My Security Training will review all complaints within a reasonable time they are received and respond within fifteen (15) business days by phone or mail. Each complaint will be resolved within sixty (60) business days. If further time or action is required the complainant will be notified.
